Spacious room, but issues with toilet and housekeeping

Upon check-in, after traveling for 30+ hours, we used bathroom. Toilet clogged. We called front desk for plunger. We waited for an hour. My husband even went down to the front desk to request the plunger, after calling 3 times. Next day, toilet clogged again. Wait was shorter this time for plunger. Sometimes it wouldn't flush at all and I had to take off the top of the lid and manually pull the chain (twice). This was extremely annoying. *note: we are experience Brazil travelers and know not to flush the paper. We had housekeeping the first 2 days. It was wonderful. The 3rd day we requested housekeeping twice. No one came. Upon check-in, we had a lot of luggage. No assistance was offered. No assistance was offered upon check out either. For a 4 star hotel, I expect better. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good.

The staff is qualified and kind, from the doormen, the front desk staff, the restaurant staff, to the usually unseen staff that we saw while using the service elevators. The service they provide is personalized and they made me feel welcomed. I wish I could have seen the maid to thank her personally. The food at breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the facilities were not at its best. The elevators were not functioning, the room has to be remodel, and one morning there was no running water. Those facts are true, but nothing stopped me to have a great time.

The room was for handikapped the tv channels were blury reported to front desk they did nothing, restaurant tables dirty, workers from hotel not nice or friendly
