Well, this place was brilliant from start to finish 👏. The staff were amazing in every area. Front desk, restaurant & bars and cleaning staff. Literally too many to mention singularly. Rooms were lovely. I manage to speak to a manager about our stay expressing how we'd all had an amazing time and he explained that the tribute "Micheal Jackson" was the first time he'd booked and wanted general feed back from his guests. I thought this was lovely as he genuinely cared what we thought. M.j was out of this world for his vocals and he had an amazing stage presence. The only request I would have to make the experience better would for the performer to be given an actual stage. We struggled to see him at the back.. but still throughly enjoyed the evening. We had a three course evening dinner. Spa day (all facilities) entertainment and a bottle on the table a room for the evening. Breakfast, I could go on. Its all on their website! It was amazing value. I would recommend this venue, its staff and facilities to everyone I meet! I've told all my friends, family and work colleagues. Imagine a wedding or party with a tribute act!? That would be fantastic although maybe a big bill if paying for all guest... but an option if the bride groom invite people to join them at their own costs? It is the 21st century after all. The staff here are definitely excelling in customer service. Well done all. Can't wait to book again. Which we 100% will. These events are on 2 a month I was told open to all... near or far. Would be great for locals on rest bite or just a cracking night out! There were couples, birthdays, lady days and even a retirement party there with us for the evening. No agro which is great. Claudia and girls from Telford. Well worth the 2 hour drive! Oh and I have to mention the beautiful roller door open sided jacuzzi (just beautiful) it's fabulous to have fresh air while bubbling away in a hot tub. Which is huge. Only gripe is guest using the sunlongers to store towels/robes! I have no problem in moving them which I did, but other guest do not and won't. We were told on arrival NOT to save loungers (which of course we followed but I would say only 10% of guest followed this rule) You can't be in two places at once and most want to just use the facilities, SO HANG YOUR TOWEL UP. Staff pleas do 15/30 min walk of room to ensure your request are followed and also more hooks will be needed to facilitate the request.

Lovely facilities a very relaxing day a little busy at times, food was OK, glasses were dirty however Staff sorted this quickly. Went for my hen doo and the staff didn't do anything extra or special for this day. No acknowledgement at all. The mud bath was brilliant.

Inadequate chefs at the grange

The hotel itself was lovely, staff were extremely friendly. The food however was inadequate, we luckily bought the package with a three course free meal included otherwise I would have been asking for my money back. The starters we ordered were creamy garlic mushrooms which had hardly any mushrooms on the bread, the sauce was bland and the calamari was hard and tasted well over cooked. In addition to the above, the main course we ordered was pork belly, the gravy was minimal and tasted like bisto, the carrots were not even peeled, mushrooms looked dehydrated with zero flavour, tenderstem brocolli was mentioned on the menu, the dish came with one minute piece. Furthermore, the salmon dish was basic, chips were okay but the salmon was over cooked, dry and had little sauce. The desserts were average, tiramisu still partially frozen on the inside, the cheese board and wine were the only part of the meal which were enjoyable and these were not sourced from the grange hotel. The manager kindly spoke to myself and offered us a £5 refund on the supplement for the pork as it was meant to be £21!! Honestly a shame because the staff were lovely, spa was great, room was good and the treatments were brilliant alongside the staff but if you are thinking of eating at this vile restaurant, think again, book the hotel and order yourself takeaway or pick one up. Clearly the chefs at this establishment are unqualified and require basic culinary training, whoever accepted them onto the team must have had no tastebuds.

I enjoyed staying at the hotel, however, the fabric of the building and rooms are beginning to look tired. I also found that quite a few of the staff didn't have a good command of the English language. I was also given a room that was meant to be suitable for disabled people. I have disabilities myself and it was not a whole suitable. The red emergency cords were tied up high, and the room had a bath with a shower over it. I slipped in the bath the first morning. I reported this to the reception. When I returned after my hospital visit I found a rubber bath mat was in my room. As a disabled person, but not a wheelchair user, the bath was just not suitable. I had previously stayed in a privileged room which was very roomy and large. However, this room was quite small even though it was meant to be a privileged room. Overall so it was satisfactory and I would stay again at this hotel but I would ask for certain specifications next time.
