I turned up early to check in and was told that I may or may not be texted when room ready. Wasn't texted but most places I have stayed would text. Was asked to pay also when I arrived and forgetting I had already paid a few days ago I did. Thought that sort of thing would have been on the system. A refund to my account was made a few days later.

The room is was given was not inexpensive at $240. Unfortunately it was on the intersection of two driveways and open to the passing road traffic noise. To top it off it was next to the laundry room. I was also disappointed that there was no in-room microwave oven. The television did not work (yes I knew how to operate it), it had a ‘weak connection’ message. I honestly rarely ever complain about rooms, but I’m complaining about this one.

I paid the higher accommodation costs purely because I wanted some silence to recharge. However on one side I could hear clearly words that were said and the noise of talking. The other side I could hear taps, urinating and all bathroom noises. The hallway had people talking until midnight on Saturday night where I could also hear their entire conversation. The sound proofing is terrible and I would have had a quiter week anywhere else. The pool was green and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The breakfast was the exact same every day. Instant coffee is pretty gross and quite poor it doesn't come with one decent hot drink. One day the cleaners just dumped new towels on my bed and didn't clean a thing or take out my overflowing rubbish from the bin. On arrival the lady checked me in at 9:50pm. I asked her where was still open for dinner and she said "I don't know. Google it."

I had the most comfortable stay. I was here for my daughter’s sport so long days meant a comfy bed was a must, great shower too. It was lovely to come back to a freshly made bed each day.
