Design economy hotel, open to creative minds

This unusual hotel, in the heart of the city of Meaux. Ibis Styles Meaux Centre, has rooms overlooking the Marne and Meaux Cathedral. The exterior decor goes hand in hand with the charming literary design inside. A terrace by the river, a bar and a breakfast room complete the service offer of our establishment for a warm and unforgettable welcome to visitors to the sub-prefecture of Seine-et-Marne.

Just 15 minutes to reach the Disneyland Paris park from our hotel. The city is located 25 minutes from Paris by train, and our establishment is close to the Meaux train station. Meaux is rich in historical and heritage character and pays tribute to its most illustrious inhabitants, like Eiffel or Bossuet. Famous also for its Brie cheese, for which the city has a dedicated museum!

Meaux is a small town, steeped in history, located on the outskirts of Paris and crossed by the Marne River and the Canal de L'Ourcq. It is also just 15 minutes from Disneyland Paris.

Good location, needs work

We stayed here 2 nights after nonstop from California. Very tired, and the beds are, as always, comfortable. The price included breakfast, and we could not separate that out, as one of us only has coffee in the morning. The only eggs were hard-boiled, and for the price not great. I’m assuming the breakfast costs a lot, because it cost $288+ for two nights, and although right on the Marne with a view of the cathedral, that’s quite high for Ibis. Some notes: more electric outlets. One by each side of bed instead of one by the bed and one under the tv across the room. Several more hooks in the bathroom instead of just one small double on the back of the door. The staff was pleasant, and this is a nice, safe place near Paris with good restaurants (many were closed 4/16/24 for school break).

I had a well-heated room with a big comfortable bed and pillows overlooking the river. The staff at reception and the housekeepers were all very nice. There's a big café where you can have breakfast which is included and drinks and food. I was a bit disappointed that with my free drink voucher as a Platinum member I could have got a beer worth €5 but not a glass of wine which was also €5. I hope they can change that.
