Saucysavory Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

Arriving by train it was a welcome treat to take a few escalators and then turn left into the lobby of the hotel. No taxis or waiting, you have arrived! I had booked well in advance and had access to a special rate which turned out to be a substantial savings from the current going rate. Staff were top notch, the bed extra comfortable and the view fantastic. I could walk everywhere I needed to go, the Bell Centre, excellent restaurants and sight seeing. Also enjoyed both room service and a few bites in their Roselys Restaurant. I would stay there again. Attention to any concerns were dealt with effectively and efficiently. Was given a beautiful “sweets” tray for having to change rooms. Spectacular view!

It has been almost 20 years since I was last at the hotel (long before the reno), and I must say it is fantastic. I very much appreciated the upgrade to the suite, which was excellent. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the front desk clerk that handled my check-in, but she was outstanding.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel and appreciated the upgrade to the suite on level 17 and enjoyed see the outside of the John Lennon and Barbie suites. The hotel is magnificently located and we had great service. The only slight negative note was that when we returned from a performance of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and tried to find something to eat at the hotel around just after 9:30 pm we were told the kitchens were closed (the manager of the bar on the ground floor was a little off hand in saying the kitchen was closed even though room service was supposed to be available until 10pm. The trays of food in the suites when we were arrived were fantastic thank you very much. We also appreciated the excellent breakfasts.
