A bit run down, comfortable bed, haphazard housekeeping

Pros: - very convenient location - quick walk to Eiffel Tower, train stations, restaurants etc - Comfortable bed and excellent pillows - They were able to accommodate side by side rooms for our family of four - provided complimentary water, juice and snacks - a lifesaver for kids - quick to respond to issues Cons: - a bit run down - thermostat was not working at all so the room was always hot which made sleeping quite uncomfortable - the toilets don't flush well so required multiple flushes - the shower was blocked on day 1 then the toilet blocked then safes in both rooms we had ran out of battery - they did manage to fix it very quickly however - very haphazard housekeeping - some day cups were provided other days not, some days they gave us enough towels sometimes they didn't etc

Pros: The hotel is located in the close proximity of the Eiffel Tower. This is the o Lu good thing about the hotel Cons: Unfortunately, my stay was marred by rude and unaccommodating staff who seemed disinterested in providing a pleasant customer experience. The rooms were notably cramped, and the inconvenience of having to retrieve basic necessities like water from reception only added to the dissatisfaction. Disappointingly, the reception team lacked even a basic level of friendliness, failing to meet the standards expected from a Mercure hotel.

The room is small and the hotel staff is not that friendly. No kettle in the room because my room has a Nespresso coffee machine. When I asked the staff how am I going to boil water, he asked me to use the coffee machine. How ridiculous is that? If I use the coffee machine to boil water, the hot water will have the coffee smell. I don't get this at all. There is a charged to use the umbrella. If you want to stay, just stay at Pullman which is next to this hotel. The outside of Pullman looks so beautiful and also a 4 star hotel. I will not come back to stay again.

The experience was not satisfactory, the room was to expensive for the value or service provided. For that price is it incredible the hotel doesn't include breakfast. The room was noisy, the coffee was terrible. I won't be there.
