Room is tired and felt like I was in 70s Austin Powers room. I'll be trying other location for the same money.

The bathroom space does not make sense, the bathroom basin is outside the bathroom - why? It took 2 days to have the empty tissue box replaced. On the 2nd last day the bed was very poorly made in fact it looked as though someone had laid on top of the bed after it was made. The older gentleman who served us in the dining room was very pleasant and accommodating. Will not be returning to Novotel Canberra.

The rooms are very unappealing for what is classified 4 Star. Stuffy, nowhere in bathroom to place toiletries etc. Colours of room are not inspiring, looks very dated. Definitely in need of a refurb and would not stay here again. One positive is the customer service at the restaurant during dinner very attentive and helpful.
