Could be Better

It is easy to find and conveniently located off the motorway, but it is probably time for an update. We were surprised that on a Saturday night there was no food available, not even a cold plate of charcuterie and cheese with some cornichons and bread, which would be so easy to prepare.

The hotel was good and clean. Breakfast was good. Staff could be a little more welcoming, the call asking when I was due to arrive was very brusque and basically told me that I had to arrive before 21h30 otherwise they were closed. The staff were very straight to the point, no pleasantries.

Good welcome. Reception and bar/dining areas smart. Bedroom/bathroom. in need of refurbishment. Bed too soft. Breakfast advertised as open at 7.30 but in fact available only from 7.50.
