Great location with friendly staff. However the hotel is in need of a refurbishment

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At Mercure, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore, your feedback is very important to us. I am a little confused by your feedback, our carpet in rooms has just been replaced and our external building has just been repainted this year. We are going through this refurbishment at the moment. I have asked the team to check your room for a recent stain is all I can think has happened to the new carpet. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. I often stay here due to it being very central to everything in Pokolbin. The staff are friendly and and rooms although dated are comfortable. The breakfast and dinner are not up to the standards you would expect from accor hotels.

Kind & Friendly Staff great you when you first arrive. Great Customer Service and can any questions we had. Conveniently located next to the Hunter Valley Gardens. Rooms are clean. Swimming Pool is open and fun. Bathtub for 2 is very comfortable for my husband and I to fit. Very happy will definitely be coming back!! Elements restaurant was also a stand out, with great food and little stuffed dinosaurs for the kids. So friendly and kind. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.
