Thank you for your review. As you were attending the event which started before our check-in time, you would have needed to request an early check in if this was required. As you can imagine, there was a great number of early check in requests on that day. Whilst we accommodate as many of these requests as we can, we can not guarantee that any room will be ready before this time. With regards to the fire alarm, unfortunately this is completely beyond the hotels control. Had you have evacuated the hotel on hearing the alarm, as instructed on the fire action notices in you room and around the hotel, you would have been informed by our team that this was a false alarm. That being said we are reviewing our communication policy to ensure the team followed the procedure in place. Your safety is of the utmost importance to us, and I am glad that the alarm system worked as it should to ensure yours and the rest of our guest's safety Best Regards Hotel Management
