Loved the restaurant atmosphere and food, and the breakfast and lunch cafe, Provisions, was perfection (delicious coffee, easy and nutritious options). This is a renowned, historic hotel, I was surprised when I received multiple emails urging me to upgrade my stay, and the pressure continued when my family and I were checking in. “Oh that room is very small, you could upgrade for just $90 more a night!” when the rates are already very high. The first room we were taken to was indeed a tight fit for 2 adults and 2 teens. The wonderful bellhop called down to see if there was another room available (knowing how this historic hotel has a wide variety in room styles). The second room at the same rate was almost twice a large! If the front desk person was interested more in our comfort over an upgrade, she could have put us in this larger room initially. Very thankful for the bellhops willingness to help us have the most pleasant stay possible.

Everyone at the Claremont is so, so friendly. It's very refreshing. We were able to relax in a beautiful environment. The pools are excellent. Thank you very much for every detail. I loved the rose shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. We'll be back!

Awesome place to have a few nights away. The restaurant and bar areas have such beautiful views. Lots of things to do in the area too. I think it would be super fun to hang out by the pool during the day and see a show at the Greek Theater at night - it's super close!

We booked a deluxe room with 2 queens. Upon check in we were told floor 8 and 9 had no heat. We were put in 4th floor room that had zero view with rooftop blocking any outside anything. They moved us into a standard room on 5th floor unbeknownst to us . Small bathroom and 2 full size beds. The next morning we were put back into our 4th floor room after we brought this to front desk attention. Also we had problems with the heat in our room which seemed to work intermittently. The hallways and lobby were cold. Staff wearing jackets. Just an overall miss for a property of this caliber.

Dear Mr. S., Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Claremont Club & Spa - A Fairmont Hotel. I was so sorry to learn that your stay did not live up to expectations. I reviewed your booking, and I can certainly understand how frustrating it must have been to move rooms during your stay and for one night be downgraded. I do not know why this happened, and I've spoken to the front office leadership team to ensure proper follow up takes place. At the very least after the first evening an upgrade to a different room category should have been extended. We did have an issue with one of our heating/cooling units that required a part to be shipped in but given that there is only one two-bedded room on the 8th floor and none on the 9th, this should not have been used as any sort of excuse for your room assignment. As a gesture of goodwill and to demonstrate that we can certainly do better I would like to extend a complimentary return night stay to you for your future use. Would this be meaningful to you?
