We were extremely pleased with the accommodation. Sadly we only had one night at Mantis no.5 but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were professional, polite and helpful. The private cinema was a great treat.

11 of us enjoyed the Movie & Burger Night in the private cinema..Great service, Superb burgers, popcorn, sweets with our Movie- a totally fabulous evening!! Thank you, Mantis No 5!! From the time we arrived at Reception, we were welcomed so warmly, and this continued in the Lounge, with drinks service, followed by dinner and our Movie- We were treated like Royalty!!

The suite was very comfortable and well-appointed, loved the little private courtyard; the staff were pleasant and helpful. We found the nightlights a thoughtful touch. The mini-bar and coffee station were well-stocked, except we wondered why no bottled water (still and sparkling) was provided in the fridge.

Great hotel, amazing decor and really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is near Port Elizabeth airport and the hotel is only too happy to arrange transport to the airport. The rooms were really comfortable and the location was good too. We only stayed for one night but were made to feel really welcome.

Very stylish boutique hotel a block from the seafront. The beds were very comfortable and no expense spared with the fixtures and fittings. Lovely balcony. Pool OK but needed a bit of a clean. Restaurant nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Mostly a business place as not much to do in the immediate city.
