Don’t follow sat nav if driving as you are directed through a bus lane.. really tricky to find car park if dark and raining .. used hotel for two day work meeting . Staff very helpful, food average.. facilities on par with other hotel chains I have used in a city centre..lifts were ridiculous , huge queues and they had a mind of there own, would have been comical if we weren’t in a hurry to check in / out get to dinner rooms etc. Rooms bit dated and need refurbished but as said that’s pretty standard for city centre establishments like this

Stayed one night at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel for an awards event. Our rooms were basic but clean and functional. The snacks and drinks in the bar were very good and served promptly by friendly staff. The event staff were very professional and the food service was also very good. Cheryl on Reception was very polite and helpful with our various questions. Good customer service is not present in a lot of cases these days, but Cheryl and the staff at this hotel should be commended for their great customer service.

Clean and functional rooms, along with tasty snacks and drinks served promptly by friendly staff, can definitely enhance your stay. Great stay, clean adequate room, lovely breakfast, but most of all, staff were lovely on every interaction, from the reception staff to the waiters and breakfast staff, would highly recommend.

The staff in the hotel were lovely and I enjoyed the personal touches which made me feel welcome. However there were issues with the room and what I was told was an upgraded room. Particularly with mould around the window and on the secondary glazing.
