I love Pullman kinshasa and have stayed there many time, but on the 18th of March when I tried to check back in, I had a very bad experience. After a very long day, I was checking in around 11Pm, basically to just go to sleep. After paying with cash for my room. The agent(Daniel) gave me a hard time for one 20$ that I had a small cut. That he would not take it. No big deal, then when he was supposed to give me the change back, which I wanted in American $, he wanted to give me Franc Congolese, explained to him that I was leaving the hotel in the morning , so did not need the congolese franc, then he wanted give me, 1$ bills, which also could not use elsewhere. I explained to him that I was tired, that I just needed my change back so I could go to sleep. He kept arguing with me to the point that I was just exhausted. He also said that he was going to leave my change for me to pick up at check out. He did not. Been a longtime customer, this was my worst experience there. Then lost power in the morning.

Mr Lukebacela is difficult for us and our customers because local banks do not accept torn foreign banknotes. These are the reasons why we have to submit to a country where this is not accepted. Unfortunately, we have no control over this, despite being part of a French group. That's why we offer our customers the choice of paying in local currency, either in cash or by card. Sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Building old, room OK but staff need more training

The hotel has experienced better days and a bit old. Nevertheless the rooms are comfortable. The staff’ attitude is however very borderline regarding customer care and would need some training in hospitality. Slow service, sometimes rude.
