We stayed for 6 nights and when we first got to our room it was so hot..about 27'c.. we had to go for a meeting, so we called down for maintenance to fix air conditioning, as we couldn't get anything to work. We came back 4 hours later, it was hotter about 30'C. Had to call down 4 times over 2 hours and finally maintenance showed up to tell us the hotel doesnt have any air conditioning till end of mat.. only heat..we were offered a fan or a wall unit air conditioner..wow $ 400 a night.. tried to talk to manager over the 6 nights and zero contact..they don't care about anything or anyone..not worth the money..zero service and huge price tag

DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel has no air conditioning and your room will be 80 degrees F and you will be sweating trying to put on your business suit. It doesn’t matter if you come in winter or summer it’s going to be hot AF in the room due to poor cooling and too much heating. The staff don’t care that the rooms are uncomfortable. They advised me to open the window (it only opens one foot wide) and they sent a fan. Which was half broken and just blew the 80 degree air around. This hotel needs a complete renovation and solutions for its HVAC problem. The rooms are also very dated. Saggy mattress. Tiny bathrooms with seemingly 60 year old tubs. Horrible stay I couldn’t wait to leave.

The gold floor staff and service was wonderful. The pool left much to be desired with plywood pieces, bad fake grass and 2x4s covering old hot tub spaces. The whole pool area needs a refresh in order to be a sanctuary space that matches the quality of the hotel. There should be fire pits outside for sitting in the sun from the pool deck and far more plants. It feels like a forgotten space and was quite a shock to us. The pool could be warmer as well.

The location is a great drawing card. The history of this Great Hotel could be better represented.

The Reception, Room and Wait staff was excellent. The Dinner on the first night had to be sent back, we heard there had been many complaints, and the breakfast egg the next morning was not cooked to order and sent back twice.
