Clean and nice hotel

The smell of mold in the room and the loud air conditioning made it difficult to sleep at night. Mrs. Małgorzata from the breakfast restaurant communicated with me in an offensive and disrespectful manner. When I talked about her behavior with Mr. Patryk, an employee of the hotel for key clients, he was unfortunately very biased and only praised the virtues of this lady. He said that if I dare to write anything about the hotel, then they will slander me. I always try to be a nice and polite person, so I don't understand his behavior. Instead of understanding from Mr. Patryk, I felt intimidated and misunderstood. Also, the ladies from the afternoon restaurant was unprofessional and not kind. As for the positive aspects of my stay, the reception manager turned out to be obliging and helpful. I also experienced professionalism and nice service from the intern Wiktoria and the cook from the breakfast restaurant. The maids on my floor were kind and helpful.

We are very sorry that we could not meet your expectations regarding your stay, which consequently affected your satisfaction so significantly. Since the opinion refers personally to me, I feel obliged to clarify some issues. It is not true that I threatened you or suggested that anyone would slander you. This is very unfair to me, because many times during the conversation I said that you should write about your feelings to any chosen people. I also suggested that this could be done both by e-mail, by phone and by letter. To conclude I added that every guest's comment is valuable to us and allows us to draw numerous conclusions for the future. Your words regarding my behavior are therefore a kind of manipulation and put me in a false light. The role of the entire team is to satisfy and meet all the expectations of our guests. This is also what happened during your visit, when each department did everything they could to make sure you had a comfortable time. We also cannot agree with the smell of mold in the room, as it does not exist in any hotel offered, and the noise of the air conditioning could not have a negative impact on the relaxation, as it is completely turned off in the entire facility until the outside air temperature increases. We had numerous conversations with the breakfast service team, who did not find any faults in the behavior of the manager, Małgorzata. However, in accordance with my conversation with you, I assure you that we will try to adjust our service even more so that each guest feels welcome, cared for and served. Thank you for your words of appreciation towards other team members and their work. We kindly inform you that any observations will be immediately forwarded to the heads of individual departments in order to take appropriate action and implement changes. 3 nights, upgrade to 11-th floor with sea view - very nice. Breakfast one of the best! Bathroom, toilet designer/builder made a good effort that it fits only a tall person. For size L and above to seat straight on that toilet is not possible; sideward ride ;-) - no space!

OK but not impressed

The stay was OK but not sure if the hotel merits 4*. One staff member available at check in so considerable waiting time before the previous client was served. Bathrobes + slippers are XS size so average person cannot fit. No upgrade offered for Platinum Status although rooms were available for booking on the website. Despite being on the other side, you could constantly hear the lift at night.

Regarding the check-in experience, we are actively working on enhancing our staffing levels to ensure a smoother arrival process for our guests. However, we would like to point out that we are a 3* hotel and some services are not as available here as in higher-class facilities. We do our best to increase the number of amenities. At the time of allocating rooms to guests on arrival, we had no better rooms available. The information visible on the booking channel must have been incorrect, for which we apologize. We always make every effort to ensure that our loyal guests receive the best opportunities. We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back and provide you with a much-improved stay. This is definitely my favourite hotel in Gdynia! Perfect location, hotel exceptionally clean, super friendly and helpful staff, housekeeping and the front desk. And last but not least, THE BEST breakfast ever! Everything you can ask for and more, fresh, local and absolutely delicious. I’d definitely stay there again.
