Good not great experience

A few odd things I noticed, overall a lovely stay though No sink in the separate toilet, have to walk around to the bathroom to wash hands. Odd and unhygienic design…? Complimentary Gin and tonic which was lovely but couldn’t open the tonic bottles. No cutlery in the room and no bottle opener. After ringing reception to enquire, and some mixed messages from staff, I had the bottles opened at the bar. A shame such a nice thoughtful gesture ended up being complicated. Why not supply screw top bottles! No bins in toilet or bathroom. As a female that would be appreciated.

Partly good, partly underwhelming

The hotel is well located and the foyer is stylish and welcoming. But the room was underwhelming and tatty in the bathroom. The extra bed was uneven so that made it hard to get to sleep. Friendly and helpful staff, sauna is a good addition. Extra charge for our dog was steep considering how clean we are and much the room needed updating.

We had a very warm welcome with some sweets and fruit in our room. The service was always very friendly. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent especially the service. We had a very nice stay. Gym was well equipped. We will probably come back again.
