Not accommodating for Us travelers Lack of hospitality and not informative at all. Amenities that are outlined are not offered or compromised during our stay. room key cards had to be reactivated multiple times “DAILY”. Outlet ports are not accommodating to Us travelers and had to purchase my own outside of hotel as they had none available. TV wasn’t working and maintenance came out 4xs over our 7 day stay and never got it fixed. No ICE available unless you went to the bar/restaurant yourself to get it… if it was open. Room service had to be requested at 3pm when I went to drop something to my room and realized it still was not serviced. Had to request the soap dispenser to be refilled as it was empty with no soap, which leads me to believe it was not being refilled daily when the room was serviced. No washcloths only towels and hand towels. Just overall was not traveler/tourist friendly while being charged a tourist fee for local accommodations. Pool and rooftop was closed due to renovations (not to mention the banging every morning due to renovations) which was not mentioned during booking or upon check in which handicapped the ability to take advantage of the rooftop view and swimming

Stayed with family in two rooms whilst visiting Barcelona during Easter break. We were upgraded to suite rooms which were large but a bit dated (and dark). Rooms were very quiet despite the central location and service was efficient if slightly unsmiling throughout. It was disappointing that we were not advised in advance that the roof terrace is mostly closed for refurbishment work as this was a big part of our decision in staying at this hotel. There is a small portion still open but with the construction noise it is unusable during the day and cramped at night.

Take a better look when booking your room as the photos of the room look alot better then reality. My bed was rockhard. The shower leaked and dindt have any power. The shower you have to set into and the floor is really slippy so watch out when going into the shower. The floor was really dirty and every time my feet where dirty because not cleaning well. Also my window dindt close very well so with heavy winds from outside it had a constant noice of not closing. On a sunday the hotel opposite has a day party “the hoxton” starting from 12.00 until 21.15 and this will cause alot of sound that will keep you up. Also the pool is closed due to maintenance and the top floor doesn’t look as nice as in the photos. The location is also not very good if you want to go into the center for tourist attractions. The ground floor is very nice and the breakfast is really good. Breakfast is 9/10. Staff very friendly.
