Excellent Lunch

We love the lunch here, we had the steak, Scotch Fillet and The Soup. Service was good from Tim, Elise, and delicous food from chef Charlie

Excellent lunch service

We had a 3 course lunch at the hotel restaurant. Food was delicious and creative, amount was generous. Service from Tim and Suzie was top.notch. The place was great for a relaxing afternoon during a public holiday. Well done Novotel. 🥰👏👏

Taxi Drivers are Rude and Dodgey

The hotel is standard, nothing to complain about. Clean enough and the service was good (with some attitude from the restaurant staff, but doesn't bother me). However, we booked a private shuttle to the airport, and when we got to the front entrance, it was as if we were cattle being confronted by two indian taxi drivers, one of which had a black hat and wanted to order us around...turns out he shouldn't have even been there because of his previous interactions...very uncomfortable and intimidating for my young children. Secondly, and this is extremely important, the shuttle driver wanted to have my credit card in the front with him, where I couldn't see my card...this is exactly how your cards get skimmed...do not allow this to happen. I did not allow it, and no one should even ask for that. DO NOT GIVE YOUR CARD OVER. Overall, I was not happy and it set my holiday off on the wrong foot. It felt as if I had to protect myself as if I was in India....

Not worth the money

The good - Ideally positioned with shops and a tavern opposite. Friendly staff who were very welcoming. Large room which was nice. The not so good - The bed needed a new mattress. Very old by the feel with springs pushing into you. Sleep was very hard. Shower was average. Spout was poor so water did not give you a good shower. TV picture was average. Overall have stayed in better for less money.
