Booked via booking.com and was written with city view instead I got construction view with people who can see me , this construction starts from early morning so you don’t need an alarm on top of that the fan inside the shower makes noise like a helicopter , everything looks a bit old reminds more guest house

Good value for what it offers honestly. Great location, ok room (in line with ibis standard worldwide, even though this hotel is a bit old). Views from the rooftop/restaurant are awesome, really adds to the overall experience.

Location is near Myeongdong shopping street, but not that close. The location of the other Ibis Myeongdong is better. There was also the construction site next to the hotel, and the loud noise started from 7 am. Another negative feedback is the room size, which is super small comparing with other Ibis hotels I have stayed. The cleanliness of the room and toilet was disappointed. There was stain and mold, which I need to avoid looking to be able to stay. The toilets smell really bad in all our 3 rooms. The breakfast was another downside. The food variety was limited, with below-average taste. Overall experience was so disappointing that I would never choose to stay here again. With the relatively equal budget, I could choose to stay in other hotels, which have better location with better room and breakfast.

Hotel is right next to exit 10 of Myeong-dong which is in the touristy area of Seoul. The staff were interacted with were ok. Not friendly and not rude. The room was fine, probably needs an update soon. The downside was the construction next door, noisy from 8am to 6pm. There is a sewage smells around the hotel entrance but I presume this is normal in a big city like Seoul? I wouldn’t stay there again but it’s an acceptable hotel to stay nevertheless.
