Un bel hôtel, une très belle chambre, un personnel très accueillant. Un bon restaurant sur place. Hôtel de bon niveau, chambre très propre et très confortable, hôtel bien situé. Parfait pour visiter cette jolie ville le temps d’un week-end!

Decent hotel, convenient for a stopover

Quiet hotel (only 5 rooms taken the night we stayed). Pleasant, friendly staff. Nice room and ok ameneties. Bathroom was freezing cold and the radiator (towel warmer) had a very complicated system to make it work. Not clever having it connected to the light switch - meant that every time you turn off the light, it turns off the radiator and you have to go through all the menu options again to turn it back on. Heating system in the bedroom was also a bit difficult to get to work properly. There was a staffing problem in the restaurant kitchen (no one turned up) which caused difficulties for our dinner. The only employee - the barman - did his best to help out but choices were very limited.

Outdated and ugly

This Mercure is really as bland as a hotel can get. It’s extremely outdated. My room (which was the higher end room - privileged I think it’s called), had a black and stained carpet, green painted walls and pink tiles in the bathroom. The design is clearly horrible but it’s also worn out and a bit dirty. The breakfast was at least pretty good. All that for €235. I will not come back here.
