With Peppers Beacon continuing to invest in critical infrastructure, throughout January and February 2024 the Lake Esplanade building within the Peppers Beacon complex will have its elevators replaced with new, state-of-art lifts. Although this is a significant project, all care has been taken to ensure it is managed with minimal inconvenience and interruption to our guests. We would like to thank our guests and visitors for their patience and understanding as we continue to invest in Peppers Beacon.

Great location

The view from our 10th floor unit was a 10 and the general location to town was perfect for us. The unit we stayed in needs to be upgraded. The wall-to-wall carpet was old and very loose, needing to be stretched or replaced. The penthouse (floor 11) above us has its entry stairwell over the master bedroom so it was loud when guests above us came or left. The kitchen pots/pans and general utensils were sparse and worn. We had an extended stay so ended up buying a new frying pan to have something decent to cook with. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful and accommodating. The inside of the unit was clean, but the patio was very dirty with leaves and other debris. It obviously had not been cleaned in some time. Overall, our unit had the potential to be a 9 or 10 rating but some work is needed.

Very tired building, furniture and facilities in room

Noisy room next door, for a Peppers establishment needs a lot of updating!

Good stay

Good location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, great shower. I was surprised at the price we paid there was no air-conditioning, and the furniture was very tired with chips and stains. If you have a car, you need to take your chances finding a spot in their very small underground carpark on arrival because there is nowhere to pull up out the front. They have another carpark at the back, but you need to phone them to get access.
