Great Location, Friendly Staff

We really enjoyed our stay at the Watson for Gather Round weekend. The Hotel is conveniently located and not far from anywhere. We especially loved the access to the walking track by the river for our morning walks. We even saw a koala! Staff were very helpful and the handwritten note to welcome us along with the complimentary food and drink items were an unexpected surprise. We will be back!

Good location

The property is quite old and the wear and tear in the rooms is evident. There are a lot of maintenance issues that need to be addressed, from the dimmer lights not having knobs to the tv sound not working initially, the beds are absolutely disgusting. The mattress does not even fit properly on the base that is provided. The base has no valance and is exposed. It is tired and is in need of some real work. A suggestion that maybe you should provide some plastic glassware so that it can be used by the poolside. At this rate, you really need to offer housekeeping more than just once a week.
