The service overall was minimal and lethargic. The room was only okay. As my title says, the combination of these two things made the price wildly over-priced. I will never stay at this hotel again, and it makes me wonder if I will ever stay at ANY 21c. I was very much looking forward to this trip, but I guess I should have read the reviews more carefully. My bad. But your bad too.

I came with the Bruce Museum Council. The Hive breakfast is excellent. I really enjoyed the Breakfast Bowl. The room accommodations are wonderful. I appreciated the table with the excellent overhead light. This is a rare find in a hotel. Fun lobbies with a lot to look at.

Booked one night stay for after our wedding day. Upon arrival was informed by a gentleman that I am not able to get into my room due to not have Id or debit card on my person. (People were bringing out belongings to us after wedding) I was able to recite my card details but that was not good enough and they would not take cash despite my room already being reserved. His shift ended and two other employees came out and tried to call management and management denied us getting into our room until ID and Card were provided. We waited for an hour in a half in the lobby in a tuxedo and my wife in a large wedding dress.
