Great Novotel in Basel

Excellent hotel in Basel with clean and comfortable room. Great shower. Food is good but Menu is a little limited. Breakfast however was outstanding with huge choice. Congratulations to the Front Desk staff (particularly Charline) who were kind and welcoming.

It was a standart staying at a Hotel Positive items: * Information persons are friendly and gentle * Room price * Other customer type * Car park * Wifi, room cleaning, furniture quality and city public transportation ticket Negative items: * Location of the hotel is not so close to the city center * Enterance of the car park from the main road (I found it difficulty, there may be a good idea to put a sign on the road) * Minibar (there was only two little bottle of water and crema for coffee)

We'll take note of your suggestion regarding signage for the car park entrance to improve guest experience. We would like to point out that water and coffee/tea are available in the room free of charge for our guests. For additional minibar items, there is a new food wall at the reception which offers snacks and various drinks for sale. Regarding your comment about power sockets, we understand your concerns and therefore have international adapters which you can borrow from reception during your stay. Extremely good stay Novotel Basel City hotel. From check-in to check-out, staff were very friendly and professional. Good options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Only small complaint was that the heating was turned off at the hotel because we are in April and the nights were cold. When I checked this I was told that the hearing is turned off from April onwards - Yet night temperature was about 8 degrees … In spite of this, an excellent stay. Special mention must go to the Receptionist Charline who was lovely and very professional. We had a great chat and she should be highly commended. Great asset to Accor hotels.
