Lack of Hospitality

The hospitality from the room service was poor, I had already complained to the manager that at least a jar of water should be available for all guest no matter the type of room was paid for. No cleaning was done in my room for the 3 nights I stayed. I paid for four nights and I had to leave the third day. Likewise the food at the in-house restaurant was subpar for the price I was charged.

The room was clean and tidy but they are quite dark rooms with limited to no natural light. Ordered room service which was quick to deliver but found the available choices limited.

tv was not working and it took way to long to fix, the next day! on checking in staff were unsure of checking in procedure and lack of training to do check in no where to get snacks as there are none in the room was very noisy

We had a good stay but things could have been improved. First our language was delivered to a wrong room. We had to inquire what happened after it didn’t arrive for half an hour. The corridors were not vacuumed at all during our stay. There were cottonbuds, collection of dust balls, used chewing gum papers all along the corridor. Our room had a direct door to another room. The sounds were very transparent and the lights from that room were visible all night. We had a late check out at 4.00 pm but around 3.30 our door pass was not working anymore. We had to ask the housekeeping staff to open the door for us. Staff were not aware of what is happening around seems very junior or new staff to the place. The breakfast buffet was good. However, on the second day the choices of food was less. Loved the swimming pool and gym facilities. We found a bandaid on the swimming pool though. Location was very good. Closer to trams and city. Staff are friendly. The restaurant is good and food was excellent.

This is becoming our go to in Melbourne. The guy on check-in when we arrived was amazing so friendly and helpful. Kids love that the pool is open to 11pm. Win win for everyone.
