Ideally located but a bit noisy

Ideally located to visit the old city and the center in general. Rooms are very clean and the Sky7 top floor bar is very pleasant for a drink. The breakfast buffet offers a wide choice especially for salty food. That said, given the location of the hotel next to the road along the river, the rooms are a bit noisy despite double glazing windows.

Room for a lot of improvement

I arrived on the early morning flight so paid for two nights so I could check in straight away. The reservation was /is covered by my credit card, however at breakfast there was an issue over the credit card not covering the charge to the room billing. Later I ordered room service midafternoon so I could sleep prior to my very early check out for a 05.00am flight. An hour after I ordered the food using the hotel's phone app, nothing arrived I called down to be told they don't usually use the app. It appears you read the menu on the app, then ignore on line ordering and phone the order in to the restaurant. When I phoned down to ask where my meal was they apologised and would process the order. In the special request tab on the app I asked for salt and pepper. The meal arrived an hour and thirty minutes after I placed the order, the main course plate was badly chipped and the service was without any salt and pepper. It took another ten minutes for the S&P to arrive. They weren't busy, it was mid to late afternoon and failed to deliver the service one has grown to expect as standard. This hotel has a lot to offer but is letting itself down badly by failing to manager the small stuff. The food would have tasted better if the S&P had arrived on the tray so the food could have been eaten hot.

Very pleasant short stay

Fast and efficient check in and check out, arranged airport transportation which was punctual. The room was very comfortable and the bowl of fruit and sweets on arrival was very much appreciated.

After a change of the room we were able to enjoy the wonder of a nicely decorated room, soft mattress of the bed, top notch bathroom. But the real cherry on top is Breakfast – a special thank to the Breakfast team: nice service, always fresh and tasty food, excellent homelike quality. Thank you!
