It has taken me nine months to get around to writing this review. The first probem was that we did not receive a welcoming email from the hotel in the days prior to our arrival. The second problem was that the entrance to the hotel is not easy to find. It happens to be down a badly signposted cul-de-sac and is not visible from the main road. The third problem was the fact that we went out to the pokies and when we returned, our room key would not open the door to the foyer, so we had to wait outside until a cleaner made their appearance in the foyer and we were able to attract their attention. It appears that there is no night manager as we tried ringing and there was no response. Then, we had a sleepless night due to noisy air conditioning. Spoke to the manager about these and other concerns and received a small discount and a change of rooms - thank you. As a 20 year member of ALL I expected better.

I chose this Hotel due to its location and trust in Novotel name. The hotel experience was good however there were a few admin challenges around booking and charges. They all got sorted out - kudos to the staff for doing that, but be better if the admin problems didn't occur!

The duty manager (chinese lady) is good. Good breakfast. Well located. Unfortunately, that's about it. - receptionist does every single thing which is not proper for 4 star hotel isn't it? From bellboy, valet parking, housekeeping queries and etc. - one of the room that I have booked has no hot water. Have to change room but the Chinese receptionist helped it well. - no dental kit, no room slippers. Even if it is given upon request, but wasn't briefed when I check in.

Stayed here for work - a few issues, dirty stained carpets, luke warm water -couldn’t take a shower and found someone else’s bandaid in the bed, only valet parking at $40 per day otherwise you need to park in the street. Will choose somewhere else next time.
