My room's view was a huge metal roof sloping up towards the sky. Gorgeous. The inappropriate residential split air-conditioning unit in my room blew air straight onto the bed. The guest corridors were used as permanent stations for cleaners' trolleys. The door to the utility room on the G/F was permanently left open, so that its interior was my view as I exited the lift corridor. Your General Manager needs to walk through the corridors and try to see the hotel as a guest sees it. I was surprised that Warragal had a Mercure Hotel. This didn't look like a Mercure Hotel... just something "good enough for Warragul". Right now it looks mismanaged and a bit of a dump. Your guestroom interior design was eclectic and mismatched. None of the furniture seemed to go together, despite all belonging to a late 20th century look. I did find your triangular dining table intriguing though and thought it a very creative solution for small space dining. The downstairs lobby furniture looked like it had all come from Early Settler... not aspirational. When I walk into a supposed luxury hotel I want feel transported to another world.

We stayed just one night while traveling. Easy check in, undercover parking, good beds and great bathroom. Also had excellent dinner and breakfast in the attached restaurant and the staff were lovely.
