Everything about the Mercure Bedford hotel was exceptional. It was very clean, stylish with excellent service in where we had breakfast. Room itself was well equipped and had a nice river view. Special thanks to Elisabet & Moin (Front office Team) and Meera (Restaurant) for such a great hospitality.

Paint was peeling off the bathroom door at the base. Fire alarm went off in the evening and then again at 6am but then turned off after about 10 minutes, no-one to provide guidance the second time. Was in the bar the first time so wasn't awful. Staff were friendly and respectful although service was slow and not always someone available to serve at the bar

Wasnt given the room I booked - too tired to complain - fire alarm during the night, which the other guests said was the third of the week. The "hairdrier" false alarm line wears thin after a while.....
